Common Questions

Is using AI in a clinic GDPR-compliant?

It can be, when it is built properly. Patient health information is special-category data under GDPR, so it deserves the highest level of care. We design with data minimisation, EU data residency, role-based access controls, encryption and audit logging from the start, and we help you document the lawful basis and data processing agreements you need. We will never recommend a setup that sends identifiable patient data somewhere it should not go.

Does the AI make any clinical or diagnostic decisions?

No. The tools we build support administration and the front desk only: booking, reminders, enquiries, intake and tidying up paperwork. They do not diagnose, triage clinically, or make treatment decisions. A clinician always stays in control, and anything that touches care keeps a human in the loop with the final call resting with your team.

Where is the patient data stored?

We prioritise EU data residency so patient information stays within the EU and under EU data protection law. We choose models and infrastructure that support this, configure access controls and retention so data is only kept as long as needed, and keep audit trails of who accessed what. We document the full data flow so you can answer a patient or regulator question with confidence.

Will this replace our reception or admin staff?

No. The aim is to take repetitive pressure off your team, not remove people.
